The activities organized by the Children’s Center for Civilization and Creativity “The Children’s Museum” will begin at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, in the presence of children and their parents, and will be held in an atmosphere filled with love, peace and joy, making it an opportunity to spend the most beautiful times with the family. Dr. Osama Abdel-Wareth, Director of the Children’s Center for Civilization and Creativity “The Children’s Museum,” said that the celebration begins with a segment of Christmas songs and instrumentals by the “Fikra Band,” during which a variety of the latest songs are presented in cooperation with the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, headed by Dr. Hisham Atwa.
Abdel-Wareth added that the celebration includes a zoo event entitled “It’s Not All Cats and Dogs,” which continues throughout the celebration hours. Ramez Islam, who is in charge of the zoo, will introduce the children to Egyptian wildlife and many living creatures such as reptiles, birds, and fish that share life with them on planet Earth. Their importance on the planet, the characteristics that distinguish them, and how to care for and raise them. During the day, children enjoy touching these animals and birds, playing and photographing with them.
In its latest event, the Children’s Museum launched the “Glimpses of India” drawing competition, for the ninth year in a row, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of India in Egypt, the Maulana Azad Indian Cultural Center in Cairo, and with the participation of the Ministry of Education.
